Printed Version: Hard Copy Bound Book

The Senior Guidance Directory is also available as an attractive bound book. While there is no charge for the printed version, donations are requested and appreciated in order to cover the basic cost of the books. This helps us print the number of directories you need as well as extra for those seniors and their personal caregivers who cannot afford them. This, of course, is our mission and we very much appreciate your support, thank you!

(The Senior Guidance Directory, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of IRS rules to date.)

July 15, 2014: We are moving!

The American Red Cross has graciously rented surplus office space in its Houston building to many smaller community organizations, and the Senior Guidance Directory has spent many happy years there. However, the Red Cross is expanding some of its own operations to be based in Houston, and needs all of its space going forward. Thus, as each small tenant completes our lease, we’re moving into new digs, and the Senior Guidance Directory will soon be in new, still conveniently located offices.

We thank the American Red Cross for all they do and for the great relationship we’ve had with them, and wish them all success!

Details on our new location will post soon, but in the meantime, here’s how to obtain your printed book(s):

  • Visit one of our distribution partners. Many organizations, such as community agencies and assisted living communities, keep copies on hand. For a list of these partners,  click here to the view the directory and then scroll down to Page 4. The number of books available per pickup is at the discretion of the partner.
  • Contact Executive Director Ellen MacDonald at 832-443-5083 to schedule an appointment for pickup. Though we no longer maintain offices there, the Red Cross is generously continuing to assist us with distribution during our move, and you may pick up your book(s) at the Red Cross building as usual (see map below). Depending on the number you need, we will prepare them for quick pickup at the front desk, or together we will arrange a time when you can unload a quantity from our warehouse into your truck.
